Orchestra

With Orchestra, Zukerman explores repertoire from the time of Vivaldi to the present day.

Apart from the major classical repertoire, there are new Canadian works written for and dedicated to him by leading composers including John Weinzweig, Murray Adaskin, Jean Coulthard, Jacques Hetu and Imant Raminsh. [scheduled for completion, Jan 2000]

Available for a significant N. American premiere is the 1994 concerto by British composer, Robin Holloway.

From the curiously sparse bassoon solo repertoire of the late Romantic and early 20th century period there are particular musical delicacies such as the Elgar Romance, Opus 62Villa Lobos Serenta des Seta Notas and the Emanuel Wolf Ferrari Suite Concertino, Opus 15 [Strimpoletta, anyone?]

And for those who are prepared for an evening of entertaining music and theatre, there's the Great Mozart Hunt - MUSIC WORTH INVESTIGATING!!
